World cup upsets
First major upset in this years world cup has got to be, France! Getting knocked out in the group stages of the competition. It wasn't helped with the whole build up of events; after two poor performances the French team went on strike, refusing to train, causing Patrice Evra to have a huge bust up with one of the coaches. Then Domenech decided to send Anelka home, because he called Domenech "son of a whore" shortly followed by Anelka telling him to fuck off. Finally the 2-1 loss to South Africa was the final blow to France's dreadful yet short world cup. This loss meant France were already out of the world cup, Domenech refuse to shake hands with the South Africa manager, most probably thanks to the red card.
Another upset of this tournament has to be Spain's 1-0 loss to Switzerland! Spain were a team every one thought would win this years world cup. This upset made people think differently. The Spanish people blamed keeper, Casillas' girlfriend who is a Spanish television reporter. She was blamed due to the fact she was stood behind the Spanish goal durng the loss and Casillas claimed she put him off. Fair point, she's hot! Spain's second game against Honduras put their title hopes back on track with a comfortable 2-0 win.
A third upset has to be Germany's 1-0 loss to Serbia. This looked to dent Germanys title campaign after an excellent 4-0 win against Australia in the first game. Yet the loss didn't affect the Germans who went on to beat Ghana 1-0 in their final group game which sees that Germany are now through to the final 16.
A fourth upset of the world cup will be the former champions crashing out in the group stages. Italy lost 3-2 to Slovakia in their final group game. This was a yhrillig match, Italy came close to drawing with Slovakia which would have put them through to the knock out stages. After two draws and a loss Italy had no chance of qualifying so they join France as one of the big teams that haven't qualified.
I think, the final upset has to be England's poor start to the tournament. A 1-1 draw with the USA in the first game which also saw Rob Green's dreadful mistake which gifted USA Their goal. This also saw Green dropped from the abysmal 0-0 draw with Algeria. With the while country criticising the team there was a huge amount of pressure leading to the Slovenia match. This saw England peform a lot better with a 1-0 win but in fairness the score couldve been higher if it wasn't thanks to the brilliant form the Slovenia goal keeper was in. Capellos choice to put Defoe in the starting eleven proved a good one after the beautiful ball in from James Milner was met by Defoe who calmly slotted the ball in which the keeper dint have much chance to save as it came at him so quickly. This win saw Englad through to the final 16 on second place and also means we must then play Germany. This will be a hard game that will need the whole squads 100% effort!
That's probably all the upsets of this world cup! It really has been extremely exciting and i can only hope there's more to come. I can't e bothered to write any more, so I'm out.

Yes, that's right. I'm the other one.

An Overview of Grime
Although, the grime scene has a lot of harsh critics, mainly people who aren’t educated enough about music to understand the thought that goes into every song, every lyric, the hard work by all the artists within the scene and also just how passionate the fans are about the music made.
There are so many different types of grime about these days. You have music from grime artists such as Tinie Tempah who releases songs that most of the population will hear, such as Pass out which was recently a UK number one. You also have artists such as Ghetts who release songs that only people who are into grime will hear as it’s not a song that is as main stream as others.
Grime artists can find it very hard to get noticed, this is due to the fact the majority of their music is not main stream therefore they use social networking sites such as twitter and facebook to help promote their music. They also use a lot of blog sites and forums to help promote although a lot of the promotion is simply done by fans, such as my self.
History of Grime
Grime music emerged from Bow, East London. It was highly promoted and the development of grime has been helped massively by Pirate radio stations such as Major FM and Rinse FM. Major FM were the first online radio station to support grime music and introduce it to an international market. Grime music started off as being known as “eskibeat” which was a term applied by the artist Wiley who could single handily be held responsible for generating the “grime”. Among one of the first songs to emerge and be labelled as grime is “Eskimo” by Wiley.
Grime was bought to the attention of the main stream media by artists Dizzee Rascal and Wiley who were both part of the movement Roll Deep. They did this by the release of their albums “boy in da corner” and “treddin on thin ice”. Dizze Rascal won a mercury music prize in 2003 with his album “boy in da corner”. Grime started to receive a lot of music and radio attention with the shows such as television program Channel U (now Channel AKA) and radio stations such as Kiss FM and BBC Radio 1’s 1xtra.

Professor Green – Prof G has only emerged in the grime scene this year with the hit single “need you tonight”. Prof G is actually lucky to still be alive as he was stabbed with a broken bottle inches away from an artery which if it had struck the artery would have killed him within minutes. The stabbing cut through a tattoo which is there, the tattoo reads “lucky”, this couldn’t be truer. He had a few songs before this such as Upper Clapton Dance and the song Before I Die which was released in 2006. He has an album due to be released this year.

The Big Bang Theory.

The Big Bang Theory is a comedy about 4 science nerds and a hot chick. That's about as deep as the plot gets. It's a pedestrian, predictable and formulaic sitcom, that makes James Corden seem like a comedy genius.
The Characters-
The characters on this show are so stereotypical they make nazi propagandists blush. I'll go through each character and their supposed relevance to the ever elusive 'plot'.
Leonard- Supposedly the only normal character on the show, he has a PH.D and a massive IQ. He shares an apartment with Sheldon, opposite Penny's apartment, whom he shares sexual tension with, apparently this is meant to create drama. He's socially awkward (big surprise).
Sheldon- He's a former child prodigy who has a masters, two PH.Ds and a massive I.Q. He lacks the basic social skills of a pineapple, and this is supposed to make us laugh.
Penny- Penny is a ditzy, blonde, attractive neighbour. She works as a waitress to fund her dead acting career. She doesn't understand all of the physics shit that the guys spout, and this often leads to Sheldon lecturing her for thirty-second-long rants blatently copied and pasted off of Wikipedia that are so forced they're less consensual than Josef Fritzl's sex acts.
Howard- He's an aerospace engineer that's Jewish and lives at home with his mother (compelling original stuff, this is). He fancies himself as a bit of a ladies man and shows no tact when approaching the ladies. Guess what, he always tries it on with Penny, who is suitably unimpressed (I bet you never saw that coming, did you?).
Rajesh- Rajesh is an Indian student who lacks social skills (surprise, surprise) and can't talk to women.
Yeah, But There's Some Funny Jokes, Right?
Don't get your hopes up. The cliché characters utter some tepid, predictable 'jokes' that rely on social ineptitude (given the extreme depth of the characters, who would've thought that?), and geek in jokes that are screamed at by an audience that is either drugged, or paid a hell of a lot of money to turn up.
I'll admit that I laughed the first few times this show aired, there wasn't really anything similar to it on TV. But the hilarity of the clichés soon wore off and I grew tired of it, you can pretty much predict when Sheldon will go off on one about his seat on the coach, the labelling system on every item in the house, or on one of his rants about the meaning of a scientific phrase. I want to shoot the writers in the face with guns.
In Conclusion.
This show is about the most formulaic, predictable shit on TV today. There is absolutely no meaningful interaction between characters, the only interaction between the characters is geek in jokes, more geek in jokes. and a big scoop of social ineptitude topped off with a dressing of stereotypical nonsense. The writing is shit, the acting is shit, and I think I'd have more fun sucking on the barrel of a loaded gun and sobbing during the half-an-hour of airspace this shite takes up. And yes, ripping on a TV show does give me a massive erection and make me feel good about myself, so what? Only watch this show if you're contemplating suicide and want something that will push you over the edge.
